The use of certain online services provided by Verkkouutiset is only possible by registering as a user of the service. By registering as a user of the online service, the personal data provided by the user is stored in Verkkouutiset’s customer register. Verkkouutiset does not collect or process sensitive personal data related to users as defined by the Personal Data Act.

Verkkouutiset uses the name and address information in the customer register to maintain the customer relationship, as well as for other similar purposes related to Verkkouutiset’s online services. The user can prevent the use and/or disclosure of their personal data at any time by notifying Verkkouutiset’s customer service.

The user can exercise their right of inspection under the Personal Data Act by sending a written and signed request for inspection to Verkkouutiset’s personal data register controller.
